This is a one day workshop on complex systems concepts and
their implications for international security. Ethnic violence,
terrorism, and global sociopolitical movements will be
discussed in light of complex systems insights and modeling,
including multiscale analysis and agent-based simulation.
The workshop is intended for participants from academia,
government, and national/international security related
