Several of us get a weekly newsletter on JavaScript, NodeJS, HTML5.  Well, the folks that do that just advertised that they're going to have a bitcoin newsletter.  How fast things do move!

Hmm. Bitcoin might be the first kinda-sorta universal credit attempt. Peer-2-peer Coin may cach up. I only kinda-sorta understand p2pcoin. Two things it does differently that might make it gain traction: It can use a CPU aswell as graphics card. I don't know how, but it apparently uses can torrentish stunts just like SETI and BOINC.. Thus the potential value is when massive amount of distrubuted spare CPU and or Graphics cycles are needed. Only time will tell if it'll get traction much less streetcred.
