Subject: [Activities-announce] 2011 SFI Public Lectures

Dear SFI Friends.

Attached is a PDF file which includes a listing of Santa Fe Institute 2011 Public Lectures.  Lectures are generally scheduled on Wednesday evenings (with exceptions noted) and begin at 7:30 p.m. at the James A. Little Theater, 1060 Cerrillos Road, Santa Fe, NM.   Admission is free but seating is limited.

The first lecture will be on Wednesday, March 2, 2011, presented by William Frej (Career Minister in the United States Foreign Service, and Diplomat in Residence at the Santa Fe Institute; USAID Mission Director of Afghanistan [2001-2010]), entitled "Conflict to Sustainable Development:  The Complexities of a Way Forward in Afghanistan".
