Friam Italia!

Dede and I are going to Italy for a month, staying at a wonderful school of language and culture in Camerano, Le Marche .. not far from Ancona.
        http://www.linguaitaliana.com/
We've been taking lessons from them for a couple of months via skype, believe it or not!  Now we get to meet everyone in person.

We'll be there from Sept 25 to Oct 23, in an apartment, and will have a guest room if anyone is interested in dropping by for a visit.

We'll have a car too, so can connect with any Friamers who are nearby.  Let us know if you'd like to get together.

I realize that Le Marche is an unusual location for a vacation, but it's time we see more of Italy than the usual haunts.

If any of you have contacts in any of the universities nearby we'd definitely be interested in talking about Complexity with them too.

I've been in Le Marche and it's very, very interesting. Enjoy that
wonderful month, both of you.

Buon giorno Owen,

Welcome in Europe ;-) I have been learning Italian
this year, too. Our summer holiday this year
was in South Italy. Wonderful beaches and
good wine! I hope you enjoy your stay!

If you are looking for Italian researchers
who work in the area of self-organizing and
complex systems I can recommend

* Franco Zambonelli, Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia
* Ozalp Babaoglu, University of Bologna

Ciao,

Jochen
