Job Description: The Programmer/Analyst assists with all aspects of
application development and testing.  This individual will provide  input
and recommendations on choices of programming languages and development
tools and participates in the development of test plans, test cases, and
test scenarios.  Will also participate in system testing, integration
testing, user acceptance testing, parallel testing, and provide input on
automated testing approaches.  The Programmer/Analyst provides support for
applications production environment Level 2 issues, participates on
projects, and in efforts to provide support to clients and business analysts
in translating/defining and documenting requirements, detail design, and
writing application code.
Key Accountabilities
Assists with formal and informal presentations.Defines and documents client
requirements, performs detail design and writes application code in support
of clients and business analysts. Works under general supervision and is
self-directed. Skilled in writing application code and all phases of tests
Assists in the development of test plans, test cases and test scenarios and
participate in all phases of testing. Provides planning and time estimates
for assignments.Works toward certification in areas of expertise, when
available. Gathers information, analyzes, designs, recommends and implements
solutions in area of responsibility.   Identifies/utilizes appropriate
tools. Works as a team member and utilizes team building skills on multiple
teams.  Supports multiple internal clients.
