Hi everyone - "First Friday Fractals" is coming up this Friday. And,
while I don't want to alarm anyone, this is actually the last one that we
have scheduled. This is simply because the planetarium is changing
management, and so they haven't scheduled anything after June. Now I am
optimistic that the Museum will want to continue having fractal shows in the
future - as most of you know they've been incredibly successful - but until
the new shows are scheduled, everything's up in the air. So, what I'm really
getting at is... if you've been meaning to check out a First Friday Fractals
show, or you've been wanting to invite your family or friends to see one,
this coming Friday is a great chance to do it. And it might be the last
opportunity for a little while. I'll keep you posted of course about future
shows.
Furthermore, we'll be premiering a brand new zoom this Friday that I've
been hard at work on for two months, which is deeper and more impressive
than any we've shown so far. It's fast, superdeep, colorful and totally
breathtaking.
I look forward to seeing a bunch of you this Friday June 1'st. The shows
are at 6:00, 7:30 and 8:45. Given that we've sold out all 28 shows in a row
so far, it's a pretty good bet these shows will sell out too, so I strongly
recommend calling the Natural History Museum box office starting Friday
morning, at 841-2869.
Come enjoy the infinite beauty of fractals, the patterns of math and
nature. And as always, thank you so much for your support in making these
programs so successful!
