Here's a review of the project if anyone is interested.
It's worth noting that 4k gaming (for the most part) isn't a big deal. It's cool to have bad ass looking graphics. At the same time, like the articles say: well...are the games fun first?
And hardware wise it hasn't been practical to get to 4k or try to till the last 6-10 months or so.Nvidia RTX line of GPU's (for desktop) as far as I know is one of there few that even supports 4k.
All that said: it might be a weird indirectly good thing. In the background they use a lot of Ubuntu and Linux servers.and those need to run the games somehow. And that sooner or latter that tech will trickle down!
