All,
The Wiki that supports this discussion suffered a calamity last week and has been moved, at least for the moment. The part of the address that used to read,
".../wiki/... "now reads ".../mw/... ". EVERYTHING else is the same.
To find all the pieces, go to the NoodlersIndex at http://www.sfcomplex.org/mw/index.php?title=NoodlersIndex
Jochen Fromm has added a page http://www.sfcomplex.org/mw/index.php?title=Society_of_Mind which bears on our earlier discussion of whether it makes sense to speak of knowing our own minds.
I am NOT going to let Rosen defeat me, and will post revision of my synopsis of chapter five soon.

@Don: What has happend to the sfComplex
Wiki? Like Nick I put some stuff in there to stimulate interesting discussions, but the Wiki suddenly vanished without a trace. It reappeared under a different URL, without pictures. Obviously there have been some upgrade/installation problems. Is it save to add content or will it disappear again? Do you appreciate it if we add content to the Wiki? Or is it meant to be a coordination device for practical purposes only? -J. ----- Original Message ----- From: Nicholas Thompson To: [hidden email] Sent: Thursday, August 14, 2008 5:21 AM Subject: [FRIAM] ComplexityNoodlersCorner, especially Rosen The Wiki that supports this discussion suffered a calamity last week and has been moved, at least for the moment. I upgraded the wiki to v1.12 and joined the long list of people
suffering from blank pages. That is somewhat fixed although any tweaks to the plumbing (as in adding an extension) cause the blank pages to return. I think it is safe to add or edit content as the problem is not with the database. It's with a battle between changes in MW 1.12, PHP 5, our .htaccess setup, the type of service we have from Joyent and the installer I used from VirtualMin. The new URL is part of what I had to do to get the blank pages to go away. However, that broke any short URL links, which may be why the images are MIA. I have not had time to work on the short URL fix and won't until later this week. We are applying for a major grant from the city of Santa Fe and that is priority one for the moment. It it due Tuesday. The wiki is open for content additions today and will remain so for a while. Ultimately, however, it is a knowledge base for activities at sfComplex and will be available for content creation only to donors and projects operating through sfX. It will, of course, be publicly accessible as a general resource. For everyone's information, MW 1.12 supports a major video integration effort between Mediawiki and Kaltura, which is why I didn't roll back to MW 1.9. Probably should have waited for MW 1.15 or 2.0. <g> -d- On Aug 17, 2008, at 4:43 AM, Jochen Fromm wrote: > @Don: What has happend to the sfComplex > Wiki?
