Last week, I think, there was a bit of discussion here (FRIAM: Steve Smith, Merle Lefkoff, et al. ) about if and how complex systems thinking is being translated by and transferred into other disciplines. The link below describes how a journalism organization is doing that. It's probably not surprising this effort is funded by Pierre Omidyar, a major contributor to SFI, I recall.
Additionally, I especially applaud the creation of a couple of titles on the team: "...Tiffany Griffin, our Manager of Learning and Impact ... Rob Ricigliano - Omidyar Group’s systems and complexity coach". What a day it will be when we can have such positions in gov't, business, education at all levels.
