Anyone come across this group?

I've a friend at Northwestern who has been offered the opportunity to spend
the summer in the computational modeling group at the University of Cork (
http://www.tyndall.ie/research/computational-modelling-group/ ) as part of
their Research Experience for Undergraduates in Ireland program. He asked me
if this was a credible well-respected program and I said I've got no idea
but I know a bunch of people who might. Anyone here got any experience/heard
anything about this group?
