Access to books

Jochen Fromm-5
Somehow this nasty pandemic also has positive side effects. Springer grants access to some of their books as Jon noticed, ACM allows access, and I just stumbled upon these classic free to read books at the Muse project from the Johns Hopkins University (the one that has the famous Coronavirus dashboard and offers Data Science courses on Coursera), mostly from Princeton University Press:

John H. Miller and Scott E. Page: Complex Adaptive Systems
https://muse.jhu.edu/book/31093

George C. Williams: Adaptation and Natural Selection
https://muse.jhu.edu/book/61016

Joshua M. Epstein: Agent_Zero
https://muse.jhu.edu/book/36715

Michael Laver: Party Competition - An ABM
https://muse.jhu.edu/book/36566

Robert Axelrod: The Complexity of Cooperation: ABMs of Competition and Collaboration
https://muse.jhu.edu/book/36199

Re: Access to books

Merle Lefkoff-2
Thanks Jochen for these oldies but goodies.  I'd like to recommend another book by Scott Page which I use all the time in our work.  "The Diversity Bonus", Princeton University Press, 2017.

Re: Access to books

Gillian Densmore
I submit some other strangely good things are going on as well: a huge number of really cool, awesome documentaries. On youtube, are now free. New to me. I got to watch the phantom of the opera. Scoob,  we are for now having to ask: why is distance a issue for regular follow ups with Doctors of all areas of the body. Tele-Comuting is making a return. Sure I love to get out side and go for hikes and go indiana jones on stuff. And have the sore knees to show that. But  PlanetFitness: WorkIns very cool
A NationalHeathSystem might get and stay on the table, Voting by mail? for  huge number of states? yep that's being a thing. NM just does it now. That is very cool IMO.
