Greetings,
Does anyone on the list have any experience with the ALCESTE text analysis software? It was featured in a recent American Political Science Association PS: Political Science and Politics article, and it looks very interesting. It does automated content analysis. The software was developed in France, but the website it is found on ( http://www.image.cict.fr/english/index.htm ) does not have a functional contact link, and I can't figure out how to get access to the software. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Best, Michael Gizzi -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I don't have experience with Alceste. I did find this brief blurb on the
site at http://www.image.cict.fr/english/index_alceste.htm BTW, a friend at Arizona State, Kevin Dooley, has developed a commercial text analysis package that may provide similar functionality http://www.crawdadtech.com/software.htm -Steve -----Original Message----- From: Michael Gizzi [mailto:mgizzi at gmail.com] Sent: Thursday, November 10, 2005 8:31 PM To: The Friday Morning Applied Complexity Coffee Group Subject: [FRIAM] ALCESTE text analysis software Greetings, Does anyone on the list have any experience with the ALCESTE text analysis software? Steve,
I will check out your friend's software package. I have also gone through the image website, but unfortunately their contact link doesn't work.
